Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the United Russia party, answered a question about the particular harshness of his posts on Telegram.

He stated that he hates ‘bastards and geeks’ who ‘want the death of Russia.’ At the same time, Mr Medvedev did not explain who specifically he was talking about. Most often, the deputy chairman of the Security Council and former Russian Prime Minister writes in a negative way about the authorities of Ukraine, the European Union and the United States.

‘People often ask me why my Telegram posts are so harsh. The answer is I hate them. They are bastards and geeks. They want death for us, Russia. And as long as I am alive, I will do everything to make them disappear,’ wrote the deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Dmitry Medvedev regularly publishes posts on his Telegram channel reflecting on the Russian military operation in Ukraine, sanctions against the Russian Federation and the abolition of Russian culture in the West. For example, his latest publication focuses on the EU’s refusal of Russian energy resources and other restrictions from the sixth round of sanctions. He said that the EU countries will be forced to ‘prowl’ in search of raw materials and use ‘grey schemes’ to get around ‘their own idiotic sanctions.’
