June 5, 2022, 11:53 – Public News Service – OSN: Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) Ilya Kiva said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is strengthening security because he is afraid of an assassination attempt from his own military. The parliamentarian is quoted by Moskovsky Komsomolets.
The politician believes that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was convinced of the inadequacy of the president. In the light of the failures of the Ukrainian army on the battle fronts, dissatisfaction with the commander-in-chief is growing. Kiva argues that Zelensky is also afraid of the secret services of the allied countries, who believe that the war has failed and it is time to end it.
‘The quickest end to the war could be the sudden death of Zelensky. The actors are becoming more and more like a rat that is driven into a corner! ‘Kiva emphasized.
Meanwhile, more than a thousand Ukrainian servicemen who surrendered in Mariupol were transferred to the territory of the Russian Federation for investigative actions. As a law enforcement source clarified to TASS on Wednesday, the investigation intends to send another part of the Ukrainian prisoners of war to Russia in the near future.

‘More than 1,000 people from Azovstal were transferred to Russia. Law enforcement agencies work closely with them. In the near future, after face-to-face confrontations with a number of prisoners of war, the investigation also plans to send them to Russia, said the agency’s interlocutor. According to him, there may be more than 100 captives already in Moscow, ‘among them foreign mercenaries who surrendered in Mariupol who have appealed against their death sentences recently handed down.’ Source
