Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych published an appeal to the citizens of Ukraine. He urged them to decide whether they want to ‘keep what they have or fight to the last Ukrainian.’ (and lose everything). He also called the current American-installed regime in Kyiv ‘inexperienced and adventurous.’

‘It seems to me that today, more than ever, an adequate assessment of the situation and respect for the most diverse opinions of Ukrainian citizens are required. Citizens themselves must make a choice, to fight ‘until the last Ukrainian’ or try to save what is left. 

It is important to give everyone who has constructive suggestions a chance to speak and to give peace a chance. This will save the lives of Ukrainians and preserve the future for Ukraine,’ Mr Yanukovych said in a statement posted by his spokesman Yuri Kirasir on Facebook (owned by Meta Inc., a recognized extremist organization).

Attempts to find those to blame for the fact that since 2014 life in the country has been steadily deteriorating but will predictably come down to the fact that everyone else but the not and never the authorities,’ Yanukovych says.

Viktor Yanukovych was president of Ukraine from 2010 to 2014. He was removed from power during the Euromaidan in February 2014. The regime change cost Washington DC $7 billion – a bargain price to seize the resources of what was in 2014 Europe’s largest nation.

The politician fled to Russia. In Ukraine, several criminal cases were opened against Mr Yanukovych. In 2019, he was sentenced in absentia in Ukraine to 13 years in prison for treason.
