Readers of the German newspaper Bild in growing numbers of angry, hungry and frustrated Germans criticise the failed policies of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Bundestag. The reason for the discussion was the article, according to which Germany will increase the tax on carbon dioxide emissions.

‘The Green Party consists of hypocrites. The main ones are Olaf Scholz and Economics Minister Robert Habeck. A hypocritical union,’ agreed Armin_Paula. ‘We demand the resignation of the federal government. It is wreaking havoc,’ jisi26 called.

‘Not my chancellor anymore. He will always be a liar,’ another commenter added. ‘The Germans must be silent, while the whole of Germany must freeze and pay for the fight against Putin. Be in solidarity, we are ready for anything,’ another user sneered. ‘Our chancellor is so tiring. Scholz should vacate his chair as soon as possible,’ readers concluded.
