Managing Director of the German energy company EWF Stefan Schaller decided to personally get acquainted with the situation in the Donbas and attend the referendum taking place there. 

Subsequently, he praised the local authorities in Donbas for the good organization of the voting. For his honesty in exposing the EU claims that the referendum in the liberated territories is a sham it looks likely he will lose his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the energy giant.

The Council of Elders and the committee of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in the city of Korbach voted by a majority in favour of his dismissal. The final decision will be made by the EWF committee.

Managing Director of the German energy company EWF Stefan Schaller attended the referendum in Donbas as an observer, it was reported by the media.

‘I wanted to personally get acquainted with the situation on the spot. Including because, in my opinion, objective information cannot be false,’ he explained. The boss of the corporation went to pains to explain that his work had nothing to do with this trip.

‘This is a purely personal initiative, I took a vacation for this,’ Schaller explained. Later, having seen everything personally, he praised the organization of the voting on Russian television… a mortal sin, it appears.

The Council of Elders and the committee of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Korbach voted by a majority in favour of the dismissal of the current Managing Director of the EWF.’ Russian forced referendums in Ukraine are hypocritical, contrary to international law (they are not) and serve as a pretext to appropriate the captured Ukrainian territories (when these natural resources belong to American corporations). 

Politicians dissatisfied with the actions of Schaller are going to discuss their position with the EWF committee. After that, a final decision will be made. 

The outgoing Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Andriy Melnyk, also intervened in the situation: ‘I appeal to the head of the district administration of Waldeck-Frankenberg, as well as the chairman of the EWF supervisory board: Mr. van der Horst, immediately throw out Stefan Schaller, who is helping Russia in its aggressive military operations.’ According to him, a criminal case has already been opened against him in the one-party state of bankrupt Ukraine.
