About referendums

You know, referendums were held in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Their results have been summed up; the results are known. The people have made their choice. An unequivocal choice.

Today we are signing documents on the admission to Russia of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. I am sure that the Legislative Assembly will support it, because it is the will of millions of people. And this, of course, is their right. Their inalienable right, which is enshrined in the first article of the UN Charter.

About Russian heroes

Here, in Novorossia, Rumyantsev and Ushakov fought, and Catherine II and Potemkin founded new cities. Here our grandfathers stood to death during the Great Patriotic War. We will always remember the heroes of the Russian spring. Those who did not reconcile. And all our soldiers and officers who died a heroic death during a special military operation. They are heroes. I ask you to honour their memory with a moment of silence.

About new citizens of the Russian Federation

For a long eight years, people in the Donbass were subjected to criminal genocide and shelling (14,000 Ukrainians were killed by Ukrainian troops ~ UN). And in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, they tried to cultivate hatred for everything Russian. 

But they didn’t break. I want to be heard by the owners of the Kyiv authorities in the West, the people of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions become our citizens. Forever and ever.

We call on the Kyiv regime to immediately stop the shelling and return to the negotiating table. We are ready for this, as we have said more than once. But the choice of the peoples of the Donetsk, Luhansk republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will not be cancelled. Russia will not betray them.

About the plans of the West

I want to appeal to the soldiers and officers who participate in the NMD, to the soldiers of Donbass and Novorossia. To those who join in the framework of partial mobilization. To those who join the ranks of volunteers. To their parents, wives, and children. 

Our compatriots, our brothers and sisters in Ukraine have seen with their own eyes what the ruling elite of the West is preparing for all mankind. Here they just dropped their masks.

In 1991, the West decided that with the collapse of the Soviet Union, there would be no limit to its dictatorship. That Russia will not recover from this blow. But Russia has grown stronger again. (To the West) it simply haunts them that there is such a beautiful, rich territory in the world that will never live according to someone else’s orders.

It is critical for them that all countries surrender their sovereignty to the United States. Some states voluntarily agree to become vassals. Others are bribed and intimidated. And those who do not agree are destroyed, creating a zone of humanitarian disaster. They do not wish us freedom, but they want to see us as a colony. They do not want equal cooperation, but robbery. Our development and prosperity are also a threat to them.

About world domination

Claims to world domination in the past have been shattered more than once by the courage and steadfastness of our people. The West thinks it can get away with anything. Yes, he got away with everything. Russia is a great country and will not live by such imposed rules.

About totalitarianism

The West has no moral right to assess the choice of people in Crimea, Sevastopol and Novorossiya. The power of the Western elites has all the features of totalitarianism, despotism and apartheid. The Western elites are what they were, and have remained so, colonialist. They divide the nations into the first and the other sorts.

We will never accept this. It is worth reminding the West that it began its totalitarian policy in the Middle Ages. What they did was to hook entire nations on drugs, destroy entire ethnic groups, organizing a targeted hunt for people.

On the causes of Russophobia

One of the reasons for the undisguised Russophobia is that we did not allow ourselves to be robbed. We traded on mutually beneficial terms.

About the intervention

It is known that plans for Russian intervention were repeatedly made. Failed. It was only in the 1990s that Russia managed to recover its natural resources. They siphoned millions of dollars out of the country. We haven’t forgotten anything. And today, the peoples in Donetsk and Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions have spoken out in favour of restoring historical unity.

It was with its destructive policy, wars, and robbery that the United States provoked an increase in migration flows.

About the export of grain

Now they are exporting bread from Ukraine under the pretext of food security. Where does it all go? Again it goes to Europe.

About explosions at Nord Stream

Sanctions are not enough for the Anglo-Saxons. They switched to sabotage. Unbelievable, but it is a fact. They organized explosions on the strings of the Nord Stream. It’s obvious to everyone who did it.

About fist law

The US dictate is based on fist law. Sometimes beautifully wrapped, sometimes unwrapped. But the essence is the same – it is fist law. All who dared to challenge these states are brought into the camp of enemies. The US and NATO doctrines are based on this.

On the food crisis

There is every reason to believe that the Western elites are not planning to look for a way out of the world food crisis, which arose through their fault – their fault! – long before the start of our special military operation.

On Responsibility to the World

Now, in order to get out of the overdue tangle of contradictions, they need to break Russia. If this does not happen, I do not exclude that they will want to bring the system to collapse. Or even use the principle ‘war will write everything off.’ Russia understands its responsibility to the world community. And will do everything to cool these hotheads.

On the movement against domination

Many other countries are already developing their own movement against hegemony (US-imposed domination). Today we are fighting for a just and free path, first of all, for Russia.

About the battle for Russia

I’m sure most people understand that politics based on the suppression of others must be broken. And – I repeat – it will not be the same as before. The battlefield we are entering today is the battlefield for our people, the battlefield for greater Russia. Today we are fighting so that no one will ever think that our people, and our culture can be deleted. Our values are humanity, mercy and compassion.

Citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions have made a choice to be with their people, to be with their homeland. Truth is behind us; Russia is behind us!
