Thousands of Czechs took to Wenceslas Square in Prague to protest high inflation and military support for Ukraine. During the rally, the participants also demanded the resignation of the government headed by Prime Minister Petr Fiala, which, according to them, does not put the interests of Czech citizens in first place.

On Saturday in the Czech Republic, thousands of people took to the anti-government rally to protest high inflation and demand an end to military support for Ukraine.

The rally was organized by the non-parliamentary party Pravo. Respect. Professionalism took place on Wenceslas Square in Prague. During it, the protesters blamed the European Union for a sharp rise in energy prices in a country where inflation is 16.7%, and in January it reached 17.5%. Against this background, the rally participants called for the resignation of the coalition government headed by Prime Minister Petr Fiala. According to party leader Jindrich Reichl, the Czech Republic needs a government that would primarily take care of the interests of Czech citizens.

The protesters also called for an end to military support for Ukraine and a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian conflict. According to the channel, some of the protesters came to Wenceslas Square with the symbols of the Russian military.  Stop the war, stop NATO the crowd chanted.

The Czech Republic has been supporting the Kiev regime since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. Thus, the country has transferred weapons to the Ukrainian military and received about half a million refugees.
