Iceland showed Europe how to run a happy country

MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN: Bloc Independent Iceland once showed the world at the latter end of the 20th century how a country should be run. The country where education and medicine were free. In Iceland, there were no McDonald’s or prisons.

If a sub-tropical climate is to your taste, Iceland is unlikely to lure you – especially if you are retired. On the other hand, if volcanoes, hot springs, geezers, rugged landscapes, and hostile terrain are your thing, then welcome to the island set between Europe and the United States and Canada why not go for it.

Everyone dreams to lead a better life and to live in a modern country. From this point of view, Iceland was the ideal country. There was no army here, electricity was free and people rarely locked their cars and homes. You see, there was no migrant problem so hideous crimes like murder, rape and violence are unheard of.

Iceland is a northern insular country located between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean and was under Danish sovereignty until December 1, 1918.

That is apart from the time when on May 10, 1940 Britain invaded and occupied Iceland before transferring its ‘defense’ to the United States on July 7, 1941. Later, the so-called Cod Wars between Britain and Iceland continued through the 1970s.

The population of Iceland is only 332,529 people. People trust themselves, so they rarely lock their cars or homes, and children without fear of gay lobby predators or pedophile school teachers and a Press as bent as a dog’s back leg can stay unattended while their parents shop.

Here are some interesting tidbits about Iceland: Icelanders love to read a lot. If you order water from a cafe or restaurant, it’s not like you have to pay. They will give you tap water which is very good because it’s a thermal.

If you decide to change jobs, you won’t need a recommendation letter for your previous job. Icelanders trust people and they will not control you in any way.

Iceland is the only country in the world where voting takes place online. This country is considered very right-wing conservative. The locals take a serious attitude towards lifestyle, the upbringing of children and the sanctity of marriage.

Currently, tourism is highly developed in this country, the number of tourists increases every year and is two times higher than the population.

There is no army in Iceland. If a citizen wishes to perform his military service, he/she can join the Norwegian army based on an agreement between these countries.

All schools and other educational institutions were free. Also, there are few private clinics because the state hospitals offer a very good cost-effective medical service. Iceland is one of the few European countries to use urban heating and people don’t pay for it.
