Putin reiterated that Russia is now fighting not only for its own independence and sovereignty but also for the freedom of the whole world, Vladimir Putin said in his opening remarks at the plenary session of the World Russian People’s Council.

‘We openly say that the dictatorship of one hegemon… is becoming decrepit. She has become, as they say, a double-dealing peddler and is simply dangerous to those around her. This is already clear to the entire world majority,’ Putin said.

‘I want to emphasize: without a sovereign, strong Russia, no lasting, stable world order is possible,’ the president said.

Accordingly, ‘the Russian Federation’s struggle for sovereignty and justice ‘is without exaggeration, a national liberation character, since we are talking about upholding the security and well-being of the people, as well as the right to be a strong, independent power, a country-civilization.

‘It is our country, the Russian world, as has happened more than once in history, that has blocked the path of those who claim world domination, their exclusivity,’ Putin said.

The President continued, noting that Russophobia and other forms of ethnic hatred and xenophobia have become almost the official ideology of the ruling elites in the West.

‘They are directed not only against Russians but against all the peoples of Russia: Tatars, Chechens, Avars, Tuvinians, Bashkirs, Buryats, Yakuts, Ossetians, Jews, Ingush, Mari, Altaians. There are many of us, I won’t name them all now, but I will repeat: this is directed against all the peoples of Russia,’ Putin added.

According to him, the West does not need such a large and multinational country with a unity of cultures, traditions, languages and ethnicities that do not fit into the scheme of total depersonalization, disunity, suppression and exploitation.’ He also mentioned the desire to decolonize Russia.

‘What do they (Western Alliance) really need? Dismember and plunder Russia. If you can’t use force, then you can sow confusion. I want to emphasize: we regard any outside interference, provocations with the aim of causing interethnic or interreligious conflicts as aggressive actions against our country,’ Putin said.

Moscow is ready to respond appropriately to such actions against the country, the president emphasized.

‘Any attempts to sow ethnic and religious hatred, to split our society, is a betrayal, a crime against all of Russia. We will not allow anyone to divide Russia, which we have alone,’ said the head of state.’

And in this audience, I would like to recall the words of St. Gregory the Theologian: ‘Honoring your mother is a holy thing. But everyone has their own mother, and the common mother is the Motherland.’

REAL NEWS FOR FREE THINKERS

Previously, the president has repeatedly spoken out about the undesirable influence of the Western Alliance’s illusion of total power on the entire world.

In October, speaking at the plenary session of the meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, the president spoke about the obsession of Western elites with pushing through their interests to the detriment of all other members of the world community.

As Putin noted, Russia’s interlocutors in the West forgot that there are concepts of reasonable self-restraint, compromise and willingness to give in on something in order to achieve a result acceptable to all.

‘No, they are literally obsessed with only one thing: to push through, precisely push through, and at any cost, their interests here and now. If this is their choice, we’ll see what comes of it,’ Putin said.

The head of state also suggested that if the world relies on historical experience, the legacy of the past, on which the idea of a harmonious future is based, then there will be fewer conflicts in the world, and they can be resolved much more rationally.

  1. It’s a shame Putin wasn’t around in the 1930s because the last thing Hitler wanted was war but was forced into war by the Jews and their puppets.  It was Hitler who was fighting for the freedom of the whole world, including the liberation of Russia from Bolshevism.
