Cui Bono ~ who benefits. The only nation to benefit from so-called anti-Russian sanctions is the United States – the country that provoked the Ukraine vs. Russia war and which sparked sanctions. Realistically, the United States is not a trade rival to Russia as this is not possible. Anti-Russian sanctions have a negligible effect on the United States economy.

EUROPE IS AMERICA’S TRADE RIVAL. European Union trade and products most certainly threaten its American rival. American-promoted sanctions have taken a wrecking ball to the economies of nations making up the European Union.  

President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Victorian Nuland – responsible for the Ukrainian conflict – publicly boasted about their sabotage of Europe’s gas lifeline – Nord Stream 2. This incapacitated the European Union’s trade competitiveness.  

Russia’s economy, its trade reach and international clout have actually benefited from sanctions. So, knowing this, for what reason does Brussels keep heaping upon Russia sanctions that harm only the 27 European Union nations?

THE EU AN AMERICAN COLONY: The European Union is – as has been pointed out many times – an American colony. The European Central Bank (ECB) is a branch of Wall Street’s banking dynasty, Goldman Sachs.

US FOREIGN POLICY: The European Union does not have an independent foreign policy; Brussels (and the United Kingdom’s) foreign policies follow Washington’s dictates.

US DEFENCE: The Brussels-Strasburg unelected EU regime (and the UK) does not have an independent means of defense – especially the nuclear option.

WISE HEADS READ NEWS AS MAINSTREAM HIDES VIEWS

Hundreds of US bases are scattered throughout the European Union: 119 in Germany alone and 25 in the United Kingdom. The EU and UK is wholly dependent upon NATO which is 70 per cent American controlled, funded and weaponized.

The Ukraine vs Russia conflict is a Washington-inspired, approved, directed and financed proxy war. In effect, Washington is fighting to the last Ukrainian and the European Union’s last Euro. Having exhausted America’s resources,

Brussels has stepped up to the plate with €50 billion in funds for Ukraine. This amount will draw on the resources of the European – not the American taxpayer – just as Washington wishes.

FACT: Every euro that the EU sends to Kyiv, about 90% ends up back in the hands of American corporations and companies in the form of arms purchases and previously invested investments in Ukraine.

EUROPEAN REALITY: The United States – not the Russian Federation – is the enemy of the people making up the European Union’s 27 nations. Washington’s greatest fear is a growing bloc of European anti-globalist nationalist leaders shifting allegiance from Washington to Moscow, from the American continent to Europe.

RUSSIAN REALITY: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov: ‘‘For at least the past 300 years Russia has been an inseparable part of European culture and politics. The periods of Russia’s most active participation in European affairs were marked by stability and peace on the continent.”

FOOTNOTE: Russian economy growing faster than main Western rivals – Putin: The country’s GDP expanded above expectations last year. The Russian Economy Ministry expects the country’s GDP to expand 2.3% this year, following 3.5% growth in 2023, according to the preliminary reading.

The ruble economy keeps growing and has already become the largest in Europe and the fifth largest in the world in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP), President Vladimir Putin said while speaking at the Everything for Victory forum in the city of Tula on Friday. 

According to the Russian leader, the country’s economy has demonstrated stability, unlike those of the US and the EU, which are currently in decline. ’The fundamental principles of the US’ and EU’s economies are good, their economies will rise, but today they are at the bottom, while we are rising,’ Putin said.

According to the World Bank, in 2022 China was ahead of the US in terms of PPP, while India and Japan were respectively third and fourth. Russia rounded out the top five, while Germany was in sixth place.

Meanwhile, Putin’s top economic adviser, Maksim Oreshkin, said recently that Russia is already breathing down Japan’s back in the race for fourth place.

This week, the IMF significantly raised its growth forecast for the Russian economy, projecting that the country’s GDP will grow by 2.6% this year. The estimate is a sharp increase from its October forecast of 1.1% growth. The forecast for 2025 was also increased by 0.1 percentage point from the October estimate to 1.1%.
