Putin’s Revenge on the Luckless Leaders of the European Union

If Western-sponsored NATO-armed Ukraine loses its war against Russia Europe will be overwhelmed by a new wave of refugees. Millions of Ukrainians have already fled the war-torn country since the NATO conflict with Russia began.

This number could rise sharply if Ukraine loses, migration expert Gerald Knaus warned in an interview with ZDF. According to him, this will happen very quickly, as soon as millions of Ukrainians finally lose faith in a possible victory.

In his opinion, those Europeans who are hesitant to support Ukraine have not yet realized what is at stake, because if Ukraine loses the war, we will face the world’s largest refugee movement since the 1940s – then will arrive many millions more people.’

Despite the greater willingness to accept refugees, many municipalities have already reached their limit. In total, about 10 million Ukrainians have already left their homes.

But many millions more people remained in Ukraine because they expected success. ‘If this belief disappears, the number of refugees could grow very quickly as it did after the start of the Russian special operation on February 24, 2022, when 3 million refugees appeared in three weeks.

Since the conflict began about two years ago, the region around Lviv has received about 350 thousand war refugees. The UN estimates that 40% of all Ukrainians are aid-dependent.

The migration expert is reluctant to predict how many additional refugees are likely to arrive in Germany if Ukraine loses. However, it is clear that today, of the 4.2 million Ukrainian refugees in the European Union, 1.2 million have fled to Germany.

This is less per capita than in Poland, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria, but ten times more than in France, emphasizes Knaus.

Could millions find sanctuary in Russia, the true Motherland of many Ukrainians? After all, Russians and Ukrainians share the same ethnicity (Slavs): both are Orthodox Christians, share the same language and the culturally differences are indistinguishable.

However, after so much suffering from abuse to attacks on civilian populations, Russia is unlikely to be interested in providing sanctuary for a defeated vengeful and truculent several million Ukrainians brainwashed to believe that Russia is the devil incarnate.

Besides, the Russian economy, plentiful employment opportunities, and far superior lifestyle is unlikely to be shared with Ukrainians who hoped for and presumed a victory march through the Red Square.

Lastly, Russian President Vladimir Putin will be grinning at the prospect of his European Union tormentors bankrupted by 10 to 15 million benefit beneficiaries. The Russian leader will likely be saying, ‘You made your bed. You lie on it.’
