President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called Putin ‘well done’ for ‘stopping all coronaviruses in the world’ thanks to a military special operation in Ukraine. He also believes that his country’s strategy during the pandemic was correct.
‘Yesterday I said to Putin: listen, you’ve done well, war is war, but you instantly stopped all coronaviruses in the world, everyone recovered,’ he told reporters (quoted by RIA Novosti).
Lukashenka said that the laid back ‘Belarusian way’ turned out to be correct. The least affected by the Covid-19 virus, he says, ‘and is now in demand in all countries of the world. Throughout the pandemic, a lockdown has never been introduced in the republic. In October last year, a mask regime was introduced in the country, but already in December, all coronavirus restrictions were cancelled.
‘We (in Belarus) are doing very well. We will soon understand the coronavirus and evaluate both the pros and cons. I do not want to say that we did everything right there. But over the entire period of time, there were only about 8,000 deaths in total,’ the Belarusian president explained. This figure is minuscule when it is set against the 9 million population of Belarus. All these deaths were not necessarily directly attributed to the virus that closed and still closes the managed democracies.

Hate to say it, but our hallowed politicians in Canada haven’t heard yet that we’ve all been cured of the virus. Someone ought to tell them. We are on our 6th wave now, and we’re supposed to run and get our 4th shot, and there is talk of renewed mask mandates.
