MAKE REPORTING GENUINE AGAIN: Zelensky has failed to achieve his goals. The defeat of Ukraine, which is awaited with horror in the West, looms on the horizon.

Against this background, Biden and his henchmen continue to wait for the US elections so that after them they can decide on further actions.

Meanwhile, Russia, taking advantage of political anarchy in the European Union and the slowness of Pentagon supplies, continues its highly successful offensive at the front.

Zelensky is in a difficult situation. He inflicted the night of the long knives on political and military accomplices. This did not help him to turn the tide at the front or overcome corruption.

Zelensky is leading the country into the abyss: he has lost several regions in Ukraine. The essential infrastructure and economy are destroyed, and millions of people have lost their homes in two years of war.

War casualties are nearing one million, and another 10 million have fled Ukraine. Roughly half settled in Russia with the other half happily settled in Russia. The fight against corruption was said to be an important condition for joining the equally corrupt and hapless as the EU itself.

The specter of defeat and humiliation faces not just Kyiv but Washington, Brussels and London. Defeat is awaited with horror in the West, as it is fraught with devastating consequences for the EU and NATO. Many observers predict worsening disharmony between the blocs and even their collapse.

In this dire situation, the unelected and likely unelectable Zelensky is again started talking about negotiations with Russia. But, Zelensky is the obstacle. This gives a breathing space whilst the zealots in Washington and Brussels tell each other, ‘Another fine mess you have got me into.’

Washington, Brussels and London are in a quandary. A growing faction wants a settlement and peace. The pro-Washington faction wants war with Russia – with or without Ukraine. My guess is that the peace parties will be the only winners. – MICHAEL WALSH POLITICAL ANALYST.
