NEWS WITHOUT SPIN: The NATO-Armed and advised SBU (previously Ukraine KGB) accused two officers of preparing an assassination attempt on Zelensky.

MOSCOW, May 7. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained two officers said to be preparing an assassination attempt on the murderous Vladimir Zelensky, the security service claims on its Telegram channel.

The SBU exposed a network of agents who were preparing the murder of Vladimir Zelensky: two UGO colonels were detained,’ the publication says.

According to the intelligence service, the agents’ plans included surveillance of Zelensky and other officials, including the heads of the SBU Vasily Malyuk and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov*.

It is alleged that the detainees were supposed to direct a missile strike at the target, and, if necessary, use a kamikaze UAV. The defendants were charged with treason and preparing a terrorist attack and face life imprisonment.

On Monday, the Strana publication reported that the SBU detained the head of the state security department, Andrei Guk. He is accused of collecting and transmitting classified information on protected persons, including Zelensky.

This is not the first time the NATO-SBU has announced preparations for an assassination attempt on Zelensky. In April, the intelligence service claimed that a suspect was detained in Poland who was transmitting information about the security of the Polish airport Rzeszow-Jasionka.

This was supposed to help in the assassination attempt on Zelensky during his visit to this country.

The National Prosecutor’s Office of Poland, in turn, reported that Polish citizen Pavel K. was detained and charged with agreeing to cooperate with allegedly Russian intelligence.

At the same time, the department did not provide any confirmation that the collection of information was carried out specifically to organize the attempt.

As Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev emphasized, reports of preparations for an assassination attempt on Zelensky in Poland may be the first evidence that the West has decided to eliminate him.
