During the early 1920s, there was heated debate in the Commons at Westminster about England’s guilt at charging the defeated Germans with the most heinous barbarities imaginable. Finally, the Weimar Republic was the recipient of a heartfelt apology from the Westminster regime exonerating the German side of committing atrocities. It was conceded that war propaganda for the purpose of swaying public opinion had no place in post-war Europe. 

World War II introduced the opportunity for keeping the propaganda going, exaggerating and creating equally fantastical myths about German infamies. The difference this time was that if the lies were kept going the indisputable war crimes committed by the three Allies could be excused and justified as ‘an eye for an eye’.

Furthermore, in keeping the victors’ propaganda going there was an opportunity for endless ‘reparations.’ Today, the grandchildren not only of Germans but of the Occupied Baltic States are paying tens of millions in compensation for crimes allegedly committed by their grandparents.

Alleged German atrocity claims are the gift that keeps giving with no end in sight. For this reason it is illegal in Europe to investigate holocaust-related compensation fraud. In Germany and France, scores of historians, researchers and journalists are in prison for questioning either the holocaust itself or the scale of it.

Although the revealing document is not actually hidden and can be viewed in the British archives the revelatory document is never discussed.

A 1944 Information Ministry Letter concedes that anti-German atrocity propaganda was in the first instance promoted to cover up the terrifying ongoing genocide of an estimated 14 million ethnic Germans who were killed (population reduction and trade rival removed) after World War II was concluded with the arrest of its elected legislature.

On February 29, 1944, the British Ministry of Information issued a letter to the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) along with high-ranking members of the British clergy urging these groups to cooperate with an orchestrated propaganda campaign designed to distract the British and American public from the murderous acts committed by their Soviet allies the approaching Red Army by accusing the Germans of far more monstrous crimes against humanity:

The letter reads:

‘Sir, I am directed by the Ministry to send you the following circular letter:

‘It is often the duty of the good citizens and of the pious Christians to turn a blind eye on the peculiarities of those associated with us.

‘But the time comes when such peculiarities, while still denied in public, must be taken into account when action by us is called for. We know the methods of rule employed by the Bolshevik dictator in Russia [Stalin] itself from, for example, the writing and speeches of the Prime Minister himself during the last twenty years. 

We know how the Red Army behaved in Poland in 1920 and in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Galicia and Bessarabia only recently.

‘We must, therefore, take into account how the Red Army will certainly behave when it overruns Central Europe. Unless precautions are taken, the obviously inevitable horrors which will result will throw an undue strain on public opinion in this country.

We cannot reform the Bolsheviks but we can do our best to save them, and ourselves, from the consequences of their acts. The disclosures of the past quarter of a century will render mere denials unconvincing. The only alternative to denial is to distract public attention from the whole subject.

‘Experience has shown that the best distraction is atrocity propaganda directed against the enemy. Unfortunately, the public is no longer so susceptible as in the days of the Corpse Factory, and the Mutilated Belgian Babies, and the Crucified Canadians.

‘Your cooperation is therefore earnestly sought to distract public attention from the doings of the Red Army by your wholehearted support of various charges against the Germans and Japanese which have been and will be put into circulation by the Ministry.

‘Your expression of belief in such may convince others.

I am, Sir, your obedient servant,

(signed) H. HEWET, ASSISTANT SECRETARY.

The Ministry can enter into no correspondence of any kind with regard to this communication which should only be disclosed to responsible persons.’

Essentially, this letter demands that the BBC and British churches enter into a conspiracy to falsely accuse the Germans of heinous wartime atrocities and ‘crimes against humanity’ in order to protect the public reputation of their Allies, the Russian Bolsheviks, many of whom were indeed ethnic Jews, as they raped, plundered, and murdered their way west across Europe during the German retreat.

EXCERPT: Witness to History Mike Walsh: ‘Since the end of the war about 3,000,000 people, mostly women and children and over-aged men, have been killed in Eastern Germany and south-eastern Europe; about 15,000,000 people have been deported or had to flee their homesteads and are on the road. 

About 25% of these people, over 3,000,000 have perished.  About 4,000,000 men and women have been deported to Eastern Europe as slaves.  It seems that the elimination of the German population of Eastern Europe – at least 15,000,000 people, was planned in accordance with decisions made at Yalta.

Churchill had said to Mikolakczyk (Polish Prime Minister in exile) when the latter protested during the negotiations to Moscow against forcing Poland to incorporate eastern Germany; ‘Don’t mind the five or more million Germans.  Stalin will see to them.  You will have no trouble with them; they will cease to exist.’  – Senator Homer Capehart; U.S. Senate, February 5 1946.’

The revealing letter proves the propaganda campaign was planned long before the war ended, and certainly long before the Allies opened the concentration camps and saw the alleged evidence of German ‘atrocities’ which were in truth bodies accumulated during carpet-bombing raids by the Allies which introduced typhoid and cholera not just to the camps but to civilian populations too.

In neighbouring non-occupied countries, tens of thousands of Europeans died from disease such as cholera and typhus and starvation ~ not because of the Germans but as a direct result of USAAF and RAF carpet bombing that totally destroyed the infrastructure of Germany, the Low Countries and northern France, Czechoslovakia, Romania and Hungary, Croatia etc. No Germans there and no camps but die they did ~ after the war because of the Allies determination to wage total war.

Victor Cavendish-Bentick, the Head of British Psychological Warfare Executive (Propaganda), in a handwritten note, written on Aug 27, 1943, confirmed that the alleged mass murder of Jews in the so-called ‘death camps’ was propaganda when he wrote:

‘We have had a good run for our money with this gas chamber story we have been putting about, but don’t we run the risk eventually we are going to be found out and when we are found out the collapse of that lie is going to bring the whole of our psychological warfare down with it? So isn’t it rather time now to let it drift off by itself and concentrate on other lines that we are running?’ [Public Record Office Document F0371/34551 revealed by Stephen Mitford Goodson, Inside the South African Reserve Bank]
