Unfortunately, scoops and news stories are suspended due to a 50 per cent drop in reader donations which were anyway barely enough to keep EUROPE RENAISSANCE going.

If a street vendor finds 20,000 – 30,000 passers-by have picked up a newspaper but only six have dropped something in the ‘Honesty Box’ the newspapers won’t be there for very long. One assumes that the deflated news vendor has gone off to try his luck elsewhere.

Rather than spend futile hours each day researching taboo news stories, publishing and promoting them, Michael Walsh has returned to book editing (see link) which pays better.

I am very much reminded of a true story that told of the apathy of a small sleepy American community. Such was the concern that the town elders called an assembly to discuss ‘apathy in the community.’ The event was cancelled when no one turned up.

Is EUROPE RENAISSANCE dead in the water? Not necessarily but like your car, it cannot run on an empty tank. There will be the occasional ‘Too important not to be published’ news stories. But in a space of 7 days during which time one would expect 30-35 news features concealed by the Press Barons only ONE story was published.

The 30 – 35 scoops, features and news stories were there….. but because of mind-numbing inertia from the team of readers all were deleted and will never be revealed to tens of thousands of sharing readers.

Self-Censorship and a ‘let someone else do it’ mindset are far more toxic than Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and YouTube bans and censorship.

Michael Walsh, fighting for White Rights since 1968 (before most readers were born), repeatedly gaoled, fined and financially side-lined due to his tenacity, is resigned to the suspension of EUROPE RENAISSANCE as he returns to paid-for writing.

Meanwhile, the media columnist unpaid continues to create and make available to a sea of reaching hands powerful image-message memes on all social media.

Michael is old enough to have experienced first-hand the spirit of resistance and self-sacrifice displayed by post-war (and pre-war) generations. He is, however sceptical of the current generation’s right to exist in a world of race rivalry. The echoes of past and current warnings go unheeded.
