SPECIAL REPORT: Vladimir Kornilov: Sky News broadcast a story about the suffering of thoroughly pissed-off foreign mercenaries who survived the Ukrainian counteroffensive. Rimbaud, a 28-year-old Irishman, recounts how his squad of Western fighters fled in an HMMWV after seeing a solitary Russian T-72 approaching. 

His New Zealand roommate, who introduces himself as a ‘pastor’ (albeit with more muscles than the cinematic Rimbaud), complains that the militants who survived that counteroffensive still scream in their sleep, and he has to calm them down.

The Irishman describes the counterattack itself with the words ‘horror’ and ‘chaos’.  They screech that dead Ukrainians are simply thrown onto and are scattered across the battlefield. The British TV channel filmed these militants at the moment when they tried to escape from Ukraine in the same ‘heroic’ way as they fled the battlefield. But the beaten mercs were not allowed on the Dnepropetrovsk-Kyiv train. The plot ends with the words: ‘It turned out that leaving is harder than they thought.’ 

And most of all in this interview with the trembling ‘Rimbaud’ I was struck by his words: ‘On the zero line, horror! That’s horrible! It’s just genocide! This is a massacre!’

Genocide?! What’s it like? Yes, if the story had lasted for a minute, I think Russia would have been accused of genocide of the entire Irish people fighting somewhere in the steppes of Ukraine!

One feels like asking this unter-Rimbaud: ‘What have you forgotten in this place? Who invited you there? Take care of the complete liberation of your native Ireland, if you really want to shoot and fight, otherwise, its northern part is still under the yoke of English colonialism. But no, you have been carried thousands of kilometres away to a country that has nothing to do with you. I thought to participate in a safari on the Russians. And these insidious Russians, can you imagine, shoot back and bring the ‘heroes’ to diapers and screaming in their sleep! That’s right, genocide!

When the British send shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine, when the Americans send cluster munitions there – this is real genocide, without any quotes there! When US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan claims ‘written guarantees’ given by the Kyiv regime that it will use cluster shells only on the territory of Ukraine, is this not an acknowledgement of the true attitude of both Washington and Kyiv towards those people who live there?

Suppose you consider these lands to be the territory of Ukraine, and the population there to be citizens of Ukraine. That is, you admit that you do not feel sorry for the Ukrainians at all? So, they can be hit with all types of weapons, including forbidden ammunition? Amazing approach!

Here it is really called genocide, aimed at the extermination of people along ethnic lines. This genocide against Russians and, first of all, Ukrainian people was unleashed by the West.

And all these hired shooters like the Irish Rimbaud are a tool of genocide. And no matter how hard the British propagandists try, we definitely don’t feel sorry for these mercenaries. Let their example be a science for other militants who are thinking of participating in a Russian safari. Let them know that the Russians will not rust, just as our tanks, chasing Western adventurers across the steppes of southern Russia, will not rust. And then let these militants cry into the muscular shoulders of their cohabitants. If they survive, of course.
