IN TRIBUTE R.I.P Rosemarie Rohrbach: Passed to the other side January 2023:

IN TRIBUTE TO ROSEMARIE: ‘You are not going on your own and nor will you be on your own. You are and always will be in just the other room. We will follow you. We will join you after our fleeting mortality, which is only a passing thing for a purpose; that is all.

You are not the first to return to the in-between life and you will not be the last. Here or there is an irrelevancy. We remain together as a link, the link that you made in a chain that mortality cannot break. The mortal loss is temporary, and togetherness is eternal. There is no such thing as finality, only transformation, which is to be welcomed as without it we cannot experience immortality.’ Michael Walsh.

The League of Extraordinary Revisionists Presents The German Story The German Way, a fascinating Interview and discussion with German Survivors of Allied Atrocities Rosemarie and Karin in Canada, in July 2016, by Diane King.

The real Holocaust was suffered by the German People then and now. After the war’s end, the sinister GERMANY MUST PERISH dogma was savagely unleashed on the defeated former foe. It is estimated that 14 million Germans perished after the war’s end as a deliberate population control policy. No one, to my knowledge, has ever claimed this figure to be an exaggeration. The scars the Allied Atrocities left behind will never heal. We still have to endure it with every Hollywood Film produced that is repeating the never-ending lies.

In the introduction to the presentation, Diane explains that they give a voice to the German People who are not allowed to speak about their sufferings. Rosemarie says, ‘The details are just my explanations on what I have experienced and what my Mother had commented about the Hitler Years, ‘the best years of her life’ and that also was the truth. Originally all interviews done by Diane and Jim with German Survivors were freely available on you tube, they are banned now.

When Diane and Jim came to Toronto they interviewed several survivors of the Allied holocaust against ethnic Germans. ‘There also was an interview with Karin and several others but since that time all you-tubes have been banned, I think the only reason why this one is still available is because it was with French Subtitles and was reposted and not detected yet by the self-chosen ones. Karin’s Story was of course the tragedy of the Wilhelm Gustloff the fate that they escaped. There is a story that is on the Internet that Karin wrote several years ago covering the History of Pier 21 in Halifax.

Story Text:
It was the saddest day of my life, for I left Germany on Dec. 8, 1954, to embark on a voyage to start a new chapter in my life. My Father (Heinz Kunka) was an adventurous spirit, he immigrated to Canada in 1953 in order to prepare a new home for the rest of the family. (mother Eva, brother Siegfried and myself) At the time the Canadian Government was busy recruiting skilled technical people in Germany. The country was already arising from its ashes and mom and dad were employed, life was comfortable, but dad got the idea to emigrate to Canada, “The Land of Opportunity”, for this is the way the Canadian Government solicited Germans to leave their homes.

So, here we had arrived in Halifax, frightened and full of anticipation. We were guided to the Pier 21 immigration arrival area for a documentation check. It was already dark, suddenly a dusk figure appeared from nowhere and handed us a box of what turned out to be Kellogg’s Com Flakes, Somewhat of a riddle to us, we had no idea what this gift represented. To this date, whenever I encounter Kellogg’s Com Flakes, arrival nostalgia and emotional attachment is awakened within me.

Custom dispatch followed; there was not much to check, we were only allowed to bring some meager belongings which filled an oversea trunk and a suitcase for each person. Mom was unusually nervous, for we had to sign documentation that we would not bring any Nazi literature or keepsakes of that nature to Canada. Mom had brought along “Mein Kampf’ as this book was presented to each German Citizen at the City Hall at the time of their marriage in East Prussia. The Allied Powers in their wisdom decreed this province to Russia, Poland and Lithuania for administration. My family became refugees, and we have not seen our homeland since 1945. This mom had a special attachment to this souvenir and was afraid that the family would not be allowed to stay in this new world should someone discover it.

From there it was on to our final destination- Trenton, Ontario- by train. We were somewhat shocked at how primitive the accommodation was, it certainly was not very sanitary, and we were not impressed. It was just before Christmas so folks had decorated their homes en route with colored lights, not being used to such custom we thought it was rather kitschy at the time. Homes also featured TV towers, we thought they were lightning deflectors thus our first impressions were not exactly positive.

We finally arrived in Trenton after two days- Dec. 18th, 1954.- What a culture shock! From Berlin to “small town” Ontario. Some of my first impressions- were too much snow (had to buy boots immediately.) The antiquated Ontario liquor laws were a curiosity and annoyance. We were intrigued and overjoyed by the self-service grocery stores. We also marveled at the horse-drawn milk delivery to each home. Most everyone owned a car dad bought our first one after having been here 5 years. Our family purchased only whatever could be paid for in full, our house being the exception.

In the New Year, I was registered at Trenton High School, was at a disadvantage not knowing the language. School was difficult, this town was not an immigrant center like Toronto, in fact, I was the only foreigner in school and was thus quite a curiosity, or so it seemed. Some teachers were openly hostile towards me, most went out of their way to assist and be kind. I soon made friends among my peers, but sincethis was an Air Force Town, families were being posted to other locations rather frequently, thus friends gained, were lost quickly. I graduated in 1959 among the upper ranks despite my earlier language handicap. I am eternally grateful to my commercial teacher Miss Anne Johnston who raised my self-esteem and was responsible for the knowledge and education I received and which was most valuable in future employment.

I soon married, raised two children, all the while being employed, had a broken marriage and moved to Toronto. There I worked for two memorable law firms respectively for a period of thirty years. I love this city and feel privileged to have witnessed such a remarkable and positive development of this unique place.

Over the years we acquired a genuine attachment and love for Canada. We all became citizens as soon as the five-year requirement was attained. Unfortunately, we greatly missed our relatives and friends in Germany. It was also most regrettable that my children were deprived of the comfort derived from normal close contact with relatives while here. I made frequent visits to the old country but was always glad to return to Toronto, Canada, this my chosen home. ~ Karin Manion. Source Related article: The Cruel Sinking of the Liners Built for Joy

Heinz Nitschke, German Survivor of Allied Atrocities shares his life’s story as outlined in his 19 page PDF attached.

Heinz does not only write about his personal hardships and struggles for survival during that time but he added some of the political facts that instigated the planned Holocaust against the German People.

“Reading Heinz’s emotional story, all I can say: “Our Mothers were the pillars of strength, they were Woman of Substance”, they were our role models, it made us, the survivors stronger, and as Heinz said, “to this date he cannot throw any food away”.  I totally agree, it laid a foundation in our lives that made us respect everything we have and even if we have, through hard work, achieved a better life over the years, we will always remember that at one time we were hungry and cold, hoping for a kind soul to give us a piece of bread, or give us a place to spend the night, even sleeping in barns on cold and bare stone floors on our trek back to a better life. Should the problem arise that we have to do with less, we can adapt to whatever may come, we have been there and done it and we survived!” ~ Rosemarie.

  1. I have been so fortunate to have enjoyed the warm hospitality of both Rosemarie Rohrbach and Karin Manion on different occasions in Toronto. Their stories are so very important for us to know, and for the world to know.
It is true that the scars left behind by the All Lies atrocities will never heal, as long as Hollywood and the lying press keep repeating the never-ending lies about Germany.
Thank you for the article, Mike!

    • Monika dear………… one of the many privileges of my age group is learning about the first-hand experiences of those who came before and passing them on… picking up the baton and carrying it forward 🙂
